PARTY PUBLICATIONS

 

The People's Democracy (English) and the Lok Lehar (Hindi) are the central organs of the CPI(M). Apart from this, the Party is also bringing out a theoretical quarterly, The Marxist. For subscription to these you may write to the Manager People's Democracy or Lok Lehar or The Marxist at 14, Ashoka Road, New Delhi 110 001.

 The Party publishes five daily newspapers in Indian languages:

 Ganashakti (Bengali), published from Calcutta, West Bengal,  Its Internet Edition contains a weekly English Newsmagazine and links and archive to vital documents. Phone:-(91-33) 2448950, Fax (91-33) 2448090.

 Deshabhimani (Malayalam), published simultaneously from five different centres in Kerala -- Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode, Kannur and Kottayam. . Its internet edition was launched in January this year. Kochi- Phone : (91-484) 347423, Fax (91-484) 365833.

 Prajashakti (Telugu) is published simultaneously from Hyderabad,Vijayawada and Vishakapattnam in Andhra Pradesh.Hyderabad- Phone: (91-40) 7613505, Fax (91-40) 7639921.

 Theekathir (Tamil) is published simultaneously from two centres in Tamilnadu --Chennai andMadurai.Chennai-Fax (91-44) 8526663 and Phone (91-44) 831945.

Desher Katha is a Bengali daily newspaper published from Tripura. Phone No. (91-381) 224383, Fax (91-381) 222533.

The Party is also publishing several weeklies and fortnightlies in Indian languages viz; Assamese, Oriya, Bengali, Malayalam, Punjabi, Kannada, Marathi and Gujarati.
